A former Big Brother contestant accused of carrying a knife in public has been cleared.
Alexndra De Gale, 24, was accused of having brandished a knife at three women after they teased her about exiting Big Brother.
Miss De Gale, of Allen Road, always maintained she was innocent in relation to the incident on August 23.
She told the court it was she who was attacked by the three women who wanted to steal her mobile phone following the altercation.
A jury at Croydon Crown Court today decided Alex De Gale was not guilty of possession of a knife in public.
