King Henry VIII will float down the River Thames tomorrow on his way to a 500th anniversary celebration of his reign at Hampton Court Palace.
The monarch (or a lookalike) will pass by Kingston bridge oat around 2.15pm before arriving at the palace at 2.45pm.
Historic Royal Palaces will also put on a Chapel Court Tudor garden to mark the 500th anniversary of Henry's coronation inspired by the king's 16th century privy gardens and will include distinctive features including heraldic beasts.
Garden designer Todd Longstaffe-Gowan said: "This unique evocation of a Tudor royal garden within Henry VIII's great 16th century palace at Hampton Court is the result of a new and extensive research into royal privy gardens of the time.
"The garden is a distinctive tribute to the king in his 500th anniversary year, planted with flowers and herbs."
