Record breaking crowds enjoyed fun in the sun at the Wimbledon Village Fair at the weekend.
An estimated 20,000 visitors enjoyed food, stalls and entertainment at the annual celebration on Wimbledon Common on Saturday.
Adventurous visitors tackled obstacle courses, sumo wrestling and rodeo rides - while Wimbledon’s most powerful pullers battled it out in fair’s coveted tug of war competition.
Organiser Jane Bretton said: “We certainly got the largest crowd we’ve ever had. The weather was perfect - it was just wonderful to see the whole thing coming together.”
Other attractions included dog shows and pony rides as well as a coconut shy, tombola and bouncy castle. Food and drink were on offer at a farmers’ market, tea garden, beer tent and champagne bar.
The event raised money for the Wimbledon Guild - although the final fundraising total is yet to be announced.
