Roger Federer wasted little time advancing to the Second Round, seeing off Taipei's Yen-Hsun Lu in straight sets.
The Swiss star delighted the Centre Court crowd with some dazzling strokes en route to a 7-5, 6-3, 6-2 win.
Lu produced some great tennis of his own in an entertaining tussle, but the world number two always held the upper hand.
Federer will now face either Guillermo Garcia-Lopez or Agustin Calleri in the next stage.
