A Wimbledon cyclist has joined forces with some celebrity friends to raise money for healthy hearts.
Journalist and Wimbledon resident David Stephenson teamed up with Masterchef presenter and Streatham resident John Tarode and comedian Dave Gorman to take part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride this weekend.
Mr Stephenson hopes to raise £1,500 after taking part in the 54 mile charity challenge on Sunday.
He said: “knowing your riding for such a good cause really spurs you on. The atmosphere on the day is amazing and I am so proud to have contributed to the BHF’s fight against heart disease.”
Mr Tarode said: “Cycling the 54 miles is not something you do often – but I will definitely do it again. It is such a great event with a fantastic atmosphere.”
