Maria Sharapova admits she is taking Wimbledon one day at a time after the Russian continued her rehabilitation with a straight sets win over Ukranian Viktoriya Kutuzova.
The world number 60, seeded 24 for Wimbledon triumphed in a see-saw tussle 7-5, 6-4.
And Sharapova, who is battling back from shoulder problems, is adopting a philosophical approach.
She said: "I think it's definitely going to take time.
"I don't know how long it will be until everything comes together.
"I'm just looking forward to the daily challenges coming my way.
"To be honest I think it's just a matter of forgetting about it and playing.
"I think my game suits grass.
"I love Wimbledon - to me here feels like where tennis is meant to be played.
"I have wonderful memories here and good results and that obviously helps."
