A ‘Come and Sing’ of Haydn’s ‘The Creation’ has raised over £350 for a local mental health Charity. Sue Bull, Chair of the Trustees of ‘Love me Love My Mind’ was delighted. ‘I am amazed at how much money was donated by those taking part in the evening and I pass on my grateful thanks to the Epsom Chamber Choir for organising the event.’ The event, held in St Martin’s Church, Epsom, attracted around 60 singers to join the members of the Chamber Choir. The massed voices rehearsed and performed a selection of solos and choruses from the work under the direction of Michael Stevenson. The Epsom Chamber Choir return to St Martin’s on 4th July for their ‘Chill with Chilcott’ concert. Details at www.epsomchamberchoir.org.uk.
