A man and a woman who carried out a vicious attack on a civil servant were jailed today.
Grant Williams, 22, and Kerry Watts, 23, both from Worcester Park, attacked Paul Edmunds in a Piccadilly nightclub, after he tried to stop a Chinese barman being racially abused.
He was glassed in the face and severely beaten by a group of people, but only two were charged for the assault.
Williams was jailed at Southwark Crown Court for causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing grievous bodily harm for five years.
Co-defendant Watts was found guilty for grievous bodily harm and imprisoned for 15 months.
