New chip shop to donate profits to charity
A new North Cheam shop will hold a charity day to raise funds for a local hospice.
Fish and chip shop The Best Plaice, in London Road, owned by Mehmet Oktan and Halim Kospancali, will have an official opening day on Wednesday next week, with all proceeds from sales of fish and chips, and other dishes, going to St Raphael’s Hospice.
The charity cares for terminally-ill cancer patients. Call 020 8641 1619 for more information.
