The new play area is lottery funded
West Norwood children have been having fun in the sun at a new community play area and nature garden built on the site of a derelict allotment.
The new Little Starz Community Play Area and Nature Garden in Benton's Lane opened its doors on Saturday, June 20.
The lottery funded area includes planting areas, climbing boulders, sand pits, musical features and a climbing wall.
The new play area was built with part of £2.5m budgeted by Lambeth Council to improve the borough’s play areas.
