The Royal Kent School in Oakshade Road, Oxshott, is holding its summer fete on Saturday, July 4 - and because it is US Independence Day there will be a fitting American theme to the proceedings.
It is the first fete to be held under the school’s new headteacher Sally Highton and she will be opening this year’s festivities.
As well as traditional fete stalls, there will also be an American-style cafe selling burgers and line dancers and cheerleaders to entertain the crowd.
The school choir will also be performing at the event.
