Car crazy teenagers hit top gear last week with a trip to the home of Aston Martin.

Pupils studying physics and design and technology at Wimbledon’s King's College School visited the luxury car company’s Warwickshire headquarters.

A group of 12 teenagers aged 14 to 16 saw the Aston Martin design studios and the firms heritage centre during their visit on June 25.

A spokesman for the school said: “During the visit to the factory the pupils saw the state of the art production methods employed by Aston Martin.

"This is a very rare opportunity for the pupils as it is usually only offered to Aston Martin owners.”
