The sounds of gospel comes to Tooting next month with a special performance by two choirs as part of a new scheme organised by the Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) charity.
At the event two gospel choirs and their band will deliver an evening of classic and contemporary music fresh from their recent performance at The Royal Festival Hall.
The event is being organised by the charity, which deals with tackling poverty.
William Grobel, treasurer of SVP, said: “We are delighted to be hosting such a prestigious band and choirs as part of our local fundraising programme. The concert is set to be an exceptionally fun, lively and entertaining evening for everyone to enjoy.”
Tickets are £5 on the night or £4 in advance and takes place at St Boniface Church on Thursday, July 9 at 7.30pm.
All are welcome and refreshments will be available.
