After months of rehearsals, six year old Aiden Lim, appeared alongside stage performer Maria Friedman and Daniel Dae Kim, star of the hit TV series Lost.
The Chiswick and Bedford Park School student, said: “It wasn’t frightening being on stage. The cast have been so friendly they all knew our names.”
Mother, Ling Lim, said: “My neighbour runs the stage school ESTA, she suggested I take Aiden for the auditions. There were hundreds of children auditioning. This year has been quite tricky juggling schedules, rehearsals and off-course catching up with school work, but it’s worth it, I think it’s been a wonderful experience for him.”
Aiden, who had his final performance last night, said: “My grandparents have flown from Switzerland and Malaysia to watch me. It’s very exciting being on stage and I’d like to do it again. I’ve made some good friends and Mummy has even bought me a Nintendo DS as a treat.”
