Teenagers were praised for their skills and achievements in a ceremony with a special guest.
The students are members of the Wimbledon and Kingston YMCA skills academy, which was set up to help teenagers struggling in mainstream schools.
The programme’s presentation day last week saw students given awards in music, sport and numeracy and literacy.
Mobo award winning rapper Blak Twang handed over prizes for music to one group of teenagers during the event at the John Innes Centre in Kingston Road.
