Two brothers have been charged with stabbing another man in Hounslow at the weekend.
Mohsen and Yousef Badawy, of Heston Grange, were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent at Feltham Magistrates' Court this morning after police arrested the 21-year-old and 19-year-old on Sunday morning.
The 20-year-old victim, who was attacked in Heston Park at 12.15am, was taken to West Middlesex Hospital. He was later discharged.
The attack comes just days after police chiefs drafted extra officers onto the streets of Hounslow after two boys were stabbed within 48 hours.
Knife crime across the borough has rocketed within four weeks - going from 18 incidents in April to 34 in May.
Police are being told to use stop and search facilities in a bid to stamp out knife attacks. Both brothers were remanded in custody and will appear at Isleworth Crown Court on July 28.
