A mother has been handed an extra treat by the charity that helped look after her sick son.
Raynes Park resident Ciara Laker won £200 of make up from children’s hospice charity Chase in a lucky draw held to promote their new newsletter.
She was handed the Jemma Kidd cosmetics during a presentation last week.
Ms Laker’s four-year-old son Callum was helped by the charity after being diagnosed with chronic lung disease.
Describing the Chase hospice in Guildford, his mum said: “It was nothing like we had imagined and can only best be described as a children’s heaven on earth.
"It truly is one of the most uplifting and yet humbling places I have ever had the privilege to visit.”
