Gay rights campaigners held a protest outside a solicitors’ firm following a furore over a "homophobic" email by one of the senior partners.
David Moore, of legal firm Street Marshall, sent an email complaining about the Law Society promoting Pride, a gay rights event.
In the email to the Law Society he wrote: “The Law Society should respect the fact that the very great majority of people in this country want to bring up their children as normal [and] as nature intended.”
Mr Moore has claimed his words, sent in a leaked private email, were taken out of context and would have been phrased differently had he known it would be made public.
But the Croydon Area Gay Society were unconvinced and made their feelings known outside Mr Moore’s offices, acting out a courtroom scene where a “guilty” verdict of homophobia was reached.
