People all over the borough will be dancing in the street on July 19 for a national day of street parties.
The Big Lunch, set up by the Eden Project, aims to get neighbours together for one day - harking back to the old war-time celebrations.
Parties are planned for many of Wandsworth’s streets, but there is still time for more streets to join.
The council has agreed to spread the £1,250 event fee across all parties so that each street will have to find around £200.
Tooting MP Sadiq Khan, who helped residents plan the event, said: “Street parties are great ways to meet neighbours, have some fun and increase community cohesion.”
