A homeless man appeared in court today charged with raping a teenager near a Brentford church.
David Simapuka, 43, was charged with two counts of rape, false imprisonment, actual bodily harm and threats to kill, at Isleworth Crown Court this morning.
The 17-year-old was allegedly attacked near St Faith's Church, in Windmill Road, as she waited for an E2 bus, at about 1am, on May 25.
Simapuka enetered no plea and was remanded in custody to re-appear at Isleworth Crown Court on October 19.
