A man has survived being stabbed six times by a gang of four in a South Norwood pub.
The attack, on Saturday, happened inside the Duke of Clarence pub on Portland Road.
At just after 2.30am an argument broke out between the five men which led to the victim being stabbed six times in the chest.
A police spokeswoman said: “On Saturday, July 11, just after 2.30am a white male stabbed six times by a group of four other white males following a dispute in the pub. “His injuries are not life threatening and taken to hospital where his condition is stable.
“Croydon police dealing and enquiries in hand to trace suspects who are currently unknown.”
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called just after 2.30am to reports of a stabbing on Portland Road.
“We sent one ambulance crew, a single responder car, a medical team and an officer. "A man was treated and stabilised at the scene before being taken to hospital."
