Three members of the same family are still fighting for life more than three weeks after their home was targeted by arsonists.
Zain Masud, 22, his brother Junaid, 16, and sister Nabiha, 21, are all in a critical but stable condition in hospital after receiving burn and smoke inhalation injuries in the fire on 21 June.
Junaid and Nabiha’s condition worsened last week, but on Tuesday afternoon the pair were said to have stabilised.
Maleha Masud, 15, died on Thursday, June 25.
The siblings’ mother, Rubina, 53, was discharged from hospital a day after the attack at Lessingham Avenue, Tooting.
A 14-year-old boy, charged with Maleha’s murder and the attempted murder of four of the family, has appeared in court.
The boy, who has been remanded in custody, will appear at the Old Bailey in September.
