Members of youth clubs across Croydon celebrated picking up a series of awards last week.
Young people from across south London were invited to the Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Awards.
They were nominated by their friends for outstanding achievement and received medallions and a cheque for £200 for their club.
Croydon’s winners included Ceylan–Suzanne Munuroglu, Bianca Donald, Angela Ault, Maureen Weah and Kwaku Ankobia, from Crystal Palace FC Study Support Centre.
Sophie Hodge, Annemieke Nicholls and Clare Nicholls, who also picked up leader award, won awards on behalf of Hillcrest Netball Club, while Nicholas Gibbs from Woodside and Thornton Heath Swimming Club also won a gong.
