The Addington Conservation Team and Mickleham Way Allotment Society are holding their Woodland Festival and allotment open day on Sunday.
The chain of woods that mark the north-eastern border of New Addington are ancient woodlands, one of the most diverse of wildlife habitats.
On the day, the society will be giving tours of the site, demonstrating growing techniques to children and holding a raffle. There will also be wood weaving, falconry and archery displays, and tropical and rare butterflies.
The free event runs from 10am to 4pm, at the Lower Ruff Field, Mickleham Way.
