Police are hunting for the stolen getaway car used in last week’s shooting at an Addiscombe kebab house.
A masked man entered at the Delight Kebab Shop in Woodside Green at about 11.30pm and shot a 21-year-old standing at the counter.
The victim was taken to a Mayday Hospital with serious gunshot wounds to his chest, head and face.
The masked man fled in a green Mazda MX5, registration N131 UVM, which police believe had been stolen in the Penge area.
As the car sped off towards Anthony Road junction with Woodside Green, it was in collision with a white Ford Transit van.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in Birchanger Road and is undergoing forensic tests.
Detectives want to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting, including the driver of the white van.
Anyone with information should call the Trident South Shootings Team on 020 8785 8580 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
