Parts of Chessington World of Adventures have been closed off this morning after a chemical leak.
Firefighters were called at 7.20am today to reports of a minor leak in a service area behind the public sections of the park.
The Forbidden Kingdom and the Mystic East have been closed off for safety although the park said it expected to re-open them later today.
Seven fire appliances are still at the theme park dealing with the spillage from a water purification tank.
Ambulances were called as a precaution although Chessington said no-one had been involved.
A spokesman for Chessington World of Adventures said: "The area involved is not public and at no time were guests or members of staff at any risk.
"However as is normal practice an area around the site has been isolated temporarily as a precaution."
The rest of the theme park is open for business.
