SOUTH LONDON WASTE PLAN - STAGE 2 CONSULTATION
CONSULTATION ON A JOINT DEVELOPMENT PLAN DOCUMENT FOR WASTE
The London Boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton and Sutton are preparing a Joint Waste Development Plan Document, known as the South London Waste Plan. This will form part of each borough's Local Development Framework.
Following last year's consultation on issues and options, the four boroughs have now identified potential sites for future waste management facilities and drafted policies to guide their development.
We are consulting on potential sites and policies for the South London Waste Plan from 20th July to 16th October 2009.
Documents and questionnaires can be found at http://www.croydon.gov.uk/wasteplan in all local libraries and main council offices. A workshop will also be held on 7th September 2009 at 7:00pm at the Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street, Croydon. To reserve your place or find out more call 020 8547 5375 or email: southlondonwasteplan@rbk.kingston.gov.uk.
Please send any correspondence regarding the South London Waste Plan to the Project Manager, South London Waste Plan, The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, High Street, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 1EU or via the e-mail above.
