Members of the 11th Kingston and Merton Boys’ Brigade will celebrate the 125th anniversary of their organisation with a sponsored crazy golf event at World of Golf, New Malden today.
The company will brave the facility’s dinosaur-themed crazy golf course to raise money for St Raphael’s Hospice, which offers care to people facing life-threatening illnesses.
They chose the charity in memory of one of the leader’s mothers, who lost her fight against cancer last year.
Each boy will attempt to finish with at least a par score across the course’s 18 holes, with people being asked to sponsor the boys per hole they successfully complete.
Anyone interested in sponsoring the boys to dodge the dinosaurs as they make their way between cascading waterfalls and lush vegetation can visit justgiving.com/bb-4-straphaels.
