A pilot project to give dementia sufferers and their families more support has been launched in Lambeth.
The borough will be one of 18 sites nationally to test a social networking site allowing dementia sufferers, their families and carers to interact.
Dementia cafes - places where they can all meet - will also be introduced.
Neil Hunt, Chief Executive of the Alzheimer’s Society said it was an exciting period of transformation in dementia care.
He said: "Demonstrator sites will explore the best ways of reaching out and supporting people living with dementia."
