A talent contest is part of a free festival taking place in the Crystal Palace Triangle on Saturday, July 25.
The Crystal Palace Free Festival unites traders, pubs, and restaurants, and features an array of live music acts plus four markets.
People are invited to set up street stalls selling home-made produce and bric-a-brac, while the Church Road Market, Jasper Road Market, Haynes Lane Market, and Alma Garden Market will stock everything from food, to clothes, books, furniture, and jewellery.
Live music will be performed in the area’s many pubs throughout the day, and there will be a string of events to entertain children staged at the Upper Norwood Library.
Shortlisted finalists of Crystal Palace Has Got Talent, part of a wider talent search covering the whole of Croydon, will also perform.
Organiser Andy Bambino said: “Crystal Palace people are outgoing, fun loving, people who value the heritage and uniqueness of their area They love to entertain and be entertained and at no time is this more evident than at festival time.”
