A man exposed himself to two teenage girls in Stoneleigh last week.

The two 15-year-old girls were walking along Sparrow Farm Road on July 16 at around 7.40pm when they approached a car, parked at the side of the road.

As they did, a man in the drivers’ seat opened the door and the girls saw that his trousers were undone and he was inappropriately touching himself.

He is described as mixed race and in his late 20s or early 30s.

He was of slim build with short, black hair and was wearing a black, short-sleeved top and blue jeans and white-framed sunglasses.

The car was a silvery blue saloon car, possibly a Volkswagen.

Investigating officer, DC Dion O’Shea of Epsom CID said: “This incident is extremely concerning to me and officers from the safer neighbourhood team have stepped up patrols to provide in the area.

“This was an upsetting experience for the girls involved and I am determined to bring this man to justice. To do that, I need the community to help us identify him.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the Stoneleigh area on Thursday evening and who may have seen a man matching the description, driving a silvery blue saloon car, to please come forward. Your information, no matter how trivial it may seem, could make all the difference to my investigation.

“This man’s behaviour is totally unacceptable and Surrey Police simply will not tolerate anyone who exposes themselves.”
