Crystal Palace's pursuit of Patrick Kisnorbo has ended after the Australian defender signed for League One Leeds United.
The 28-year-old was released by Leicester City at the end of the last season and Palace manager Neil Warnock had hoped to convince him to join the club after a trial.
Kisnorbo also impressed in a pre-season game for Derby County but has now snubbed both Championship clubs by signing a two-year deal with Leeds.
That could open the door for Claude Davis to complete a permanent move to the club after spending the end of the season on loan at Selhurst Park.
