William Buckingham
A jury in the trial of a man accused of killing a footballer after a pub fight is expected to retire this afternoon to consider its verdict.
Daniel Press, 24, from Ewell, is accused of murdering amateur footballer William Buckingham, 21, from Morden, by running him down with his car on the A24 London Road, in Ewell, less than an hour after they were both involved in a fight at the Star Pub.
Mr Press denies murdering Mr Buckingham, whose family live in North Cheam and Sutton.
