Residents in Kings Drive, Thames Ditton, got together on Sunday, July 19, to enjoy a street party and eat together.
However, it was not your run-of-the-mill communal meal, as families were encouraged to grow their own, pick their own or make their own food for the event.
It was part of a scheme set up by the Eden Project called the Big Lunch, encouraging residents to eat as a community.
The results meant people were able to enjoy delicious potato salads, with home grown parsley and chives, and summer puddings made with berries picked at Garsons Farm in Esher.
The street party also had a live band performing and fancy dress for youngsters.
