Crystal Palace left-back Rhoys Wiggins has joined Norwich City on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old was out of contract at Selhurst Park but despite being offered a new deal has opted for a move to the League One club in search of first team football.
The Welsh U21 international made just one appearance for the Palace first team, starting against Nottingham Forest in October, and spent the last three months of last season on loan at Bournemouth.
Despite coming through the ranks at Palace as a trainee he fell behind both Clint Hill and Lee Hills in the pecking order after a series of knee injuries.
Because Wiggins is under 24, the two clubs have agreed a compensation package for his services despite him being out of contract.
