A Streatham comedian is the star of a series of films to be screened on the Southbank this summer.
Timmy Trinder, born in Wellfield Road, was one of most loved comedians of the 40s and 50s.
He was also one of the foremost faces of ITV after its launch in 1955.
The films are being screened at the British Film Institute in August.
