Advice for residents at Merton police roadshow
Merton police’s Safer Transport Team hosted a community roadshow to engage people in the work of the team.
Held at Korea Foods in New Malden, the aim of the event was also to raise awareness of the team’s role in the community.
PCSOs Kim Lim and Melissa Lucas attended the show and handed out leaflets and “purse bells”, used as a deterrent against bag theft and pickpocketing.
The next roadshow is due to take place on Saturday, August 8 at Korea Foods in Beverley Way, New Malden.
