Clapham North and Tooting Bec Tube stations will close at 10pm every night from Sunday to Thursday until November 26.
Starting this Sunday the stations will close for upgrade work - including the installation of CCTV cameras, a new public address system, visual displays, singage and help points at platform level.
Balham and Tooting Broadway stations, which had been subject to the closure, are due to return to full operating hours this Thursday.
A Transport for London spokesman said the work was part of the London Underground investment programme.
Sue Wiseman, group station manager for Clapham North and Tooting Bec stations said: “The work, it should be remembered, while inconvenient, is temporary and will lay the foundation for Clapham North and Tooting Bec station to continue serving Londoners for years to come, so we ask you all to please bear with us.”
Up to 3.5million journeys are made each day on the Tube.
Further information on alternate routes can be found on the TfL journey planner tfl.gov.uk/journeyplanner.
