Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the murder of Ryan Musgrove.
The man was arrested last Thursday in Addiscombe and has been bailed until September 9.
Mr Musgrove, a Coney Hall FC football manager, was on his way to a training session in Sparrows Den playing fields in West Wickham when a hidden gunman leaped from behind some bushes and opened fire on July 16.
The 36-year-old electrician died of a single gun shot wound which punctured his heart, kidneys and spleen.
The masked assassin fled on a mountain bike in the direction of New Addington.
Mr Musgrove leaves behind his pregnant girlfriend Kelly McGahan and two children from a previous relationship Saffron, 13, and Storm, 11.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder in Addiscombe on July 23.
“He has been bailed to return to a South London police station on September 9.”
