London Mayor Boris Johnson is looking for volunteers to help at London’s 2012 Olympic Games.
The Mayor’s aim is to have 12,000 new city volunteers to ensure visitors receive a warm welcome and first class advice on getting around the city.
Volunteers will be on hand at airports, mainline train and Underground stations, major visitor attractions and other key locations.
They will be fully trained to welcome visitors and help them get the most out of their time in the country.
Many volunteers will be based where they live or work.
Mayor Johnson said: “I want the city volunteer programme to make thousands of ordinary Londoners proud by being part of this extraordinary time in London’s rich and colourful history.”
