Lambeth sporting youngsters met up with two Olympic heroes at a special day to thank them for their efforts in the London Youth Games.
A group of 10 teenagers were given the opportunity to meet Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt and Paralympic hero Danny Crates by Lambeth Council’s sports recreation team.
Crates, who is to retire later this summer, said: "It was fantastic to meet the athletes of the future. They should be very proud of their recent achievement in the London Youth Games.
“As my athletic career draws to a close, theirs is just beginning. They have shown they have talent and I wish them the best for the future."
