A community singing workshop for children is being held this Saturday in Brixton.

Sing Up is a Government backed campaign which aims to put singing at the heart of every primary school in England.

Together with Pegasus opera company it is putting on a free day of singing on Saturday at St Vincent's community centre.

Children can take part for free and will get the opportunity to compose and sing a variety of different musical styles, as well as singing with parents and children from the community.

To take part turn up at the community centre in Talma Road at 10.30am.
