More people are using the park surrounding South Norwood lake since improvements were made last year.
Community services staff at Croydon Council have seen more people visiting the area since it’s refurbishment in 2008.
The most recent of the park’s upgrades are the metal railings that have replaced the sagging chainlink fence along the Auckland Road frontage and also the wooden panel fencing along Woodvale Avenue.
