Two women from Thornton Heath were killed when a stolen car they were travelling in smashed into the side of a house.
Tabitha Njenga, 19, of Gonville Road and Perpetual Muchemi, 21 of Whitehorse Lane, were both confirmed dead at the scene in Stratford on Saturday.
The stolen black BMW which the women and a 23-year-old man were travelling in lost control and slammed into the side of a house and 7.19am.
The 23-year-old driver of the BMW was taken to Royal London Hospital with a broken arm and a partially collapsed lung and then released.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking and has been bailed until October.
Post mortem investigations took place on Monday, July 27, at Walthamstow mortuary and gave cause of death for the both girls as multiple injuries.
