British Transport Police are searching for two men suspected of taking indecent images of two girls on a tram.

CCTV images have been released of the two men travelling between Addiscombe and East Croydon stations.

Officers are looking to identify the men pictured in the CCTV images in connection with the incident, which occurred at 12pm on Wednesday, June 10.

British Transport Police Detective Constable Dave Brown, the investigating officer, said: “The victims, two female youths, boarded the tram at Addiscombe station and sat opposite two men.

“Two men appeared to use their mobile phones to take photos up the victims’ skirts.

“A verbal altercation ensued before the youths left the tram at East Croydon station.”

DC Brown added: “This incident was very distressing for the victims. Behaviour such as this is completely unacceptable and I would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured in the CCTV images to contact police.”
