Brockwell Lido has reached the final of a contest which could see it scoop £2,000 to enable more schoolchildren to visit the Art Deco pool.
Residents are urged to vote for the lido, which has made it through to the final stage of this year’s National Lottery Awards in the Best Heritage Project category.
The annual awards search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects.
Paul Maier, operations manager for Brockwell Lido, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached the final of The National Lottery Awards and want to thank everyone who has supported us so far.
“We hope that people will vote for us to win, as we plan to use the £2,000 prize money to help extend the schools programme, which has been really successful in giving local children from Lambeth the chance to spend a day at the Lido.”
Public voting for the final starts runs until midday on Friday, August 14.
