A 52-year-old man was rushed to hospital yesterday after he was hit by a car.
Witnesses in Church Road, Barnes, reported seeing a man hit by the car as it drove around the corner of the Rocks Lane junction.
It is believed the man lost consciousness and suffered a broken leg and head wound.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said an ambulance was called to the scene at 1.40pm.
She added: “Staff treated a 52-year-old man and he was taken as a priority to Charing Cross Hospital with head injuries and leg injuries.”
Roads were closed for a short time following the incident.
Richmond Police was unavailable for comment.
