Monday marked the start of the three year countdown to 2012 - but what can the people of Richmond and Hounslow expect when the Olympics comes to London?
With all eyes on Stratford, where the majority of events are due to be held, the extent to which the two boroughs will be involved is unclear.
Last year a 600-strong list of possible venues and sporting facilities for teams to train at and events to be held was announced.
On it were Twickenham Stadium, St Mary's University College, the Royal Canoe Club and Barn Elms, in Richmond and Brentford Football Club, Heathrow Gymnastics Club, Indian Gymkhana Club and the University of Westminster’s Chiswick Sports Grounds, in Hounslow.
But who will be training where and which organisations will be involved in 2012 is a question yet to be answered.
The Richmond and Twickenham Times and Hounslow and Brentford Times would like to hear from any borough-based Olympic hopeful, organisation or sports facility set to be part of the Olympics.
