Disadvantaged Sutton children have benefited from professional sports coaching after a £10,000 National Lottery grant.
The Awards for All funding paid for the Premier Sport firm to run extra-curricular activities at Manor Park Primary School.
Steve Harvey, area coordinator for Premier Sport, said: “The school has pupils attending from many different backgrounds, who may not have the opportunity to attend after-school clubs due to financial restraints.
“The school has also used the grant to buy sports equipment that will benefit the children during curricular lessons, making PE more varied and enjoyable.”
