A West Norwood woman is to pitch her kitchen invention to celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal.
Tracey Davies, 38, is one of 10 inventors nationwide to make the finals of the Finish Diamond Standard Innovation Challenge.
The challenge invited people to submit ideas they believe could be the kitchen invention of the future for a cash prize of £10,000 and the chance to develop the product and bring it to market with Lakeland stores.
Tracey is due to pitch her “Easy To Use Cooking Calculator” to a panel of judges this Thursday.
She said she was looking forward to having the chance to bring her invention to life for the judges, adding: “I am nervous about pitching to Heston Blumenthal though.
"As a world-leading chef at the forefront of innovation, I’m sure he will be a formidable judge to impress.”
